1. Introduction

Welcome to Chums Media House. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of service, which together with our privacy policy govern Chums Media House's relationship with you in relation to this website and our production services.

The term 'Chums Media House' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website and clients of our services.

2. Services & Booking

• All project bookings require a non-refundable deposit (typically 50% unless otherwise agreed) to secure dates and production resources.
• The final balance is due upon project completion and before the delivery of the final master files without watermarks.
• Project timelines and delivery dates are estimates. We strive to meet all deadlines but are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including weather, talent availability, or late feedback from the client.

3. Revisions & Approvals

Our standard production packages include two (2) rounds of revisions. Any additional revisions beyond this scope will be billed at our standard hourly editing rate. Feedback must be consolidated and provided in a timely manner.

4. Copyright & Ownership

Upon full payment, the client is granted a license to use the final edited video for its intended purpose. However, Chums Media House retains the copyright to all original raw footage, project files, and the right to use the final product for our own promotional purposes, portfolio, and marketing.

Raw footage (project files, ungraded clips) is not released to the client unless explicitly negotiated as a buyout clause in the initial contract, which will incur an additional fee.

5. Liability & Cancellations

If a client cancels a production within 48 hours of the scheduled shoot, the deposit will be forfeited. Rescheduling is subject to our availability. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that occurs during production on locations provided by the client.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this website. Your continued use of our services constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
